Paper tearing fans
Zenner paper tearing fans are used for shredding endless paper strips or edge trims in the paper industry.
The special impeller design prevents paper strips from getting stuck and collecting. In addition, optional monitoring of the volume flow ensures that blockages in the fan are detected at an early stage. This ensures reliable separation of the materials you use at all times.

High pressure blower
Zenner high-pressure blower (or fans) in single or multi-stage design are suitable for all applications that require higher pressures than the basic range. The high-pressure fans are used to generate high negative pressures, whereby the highest speeds are achieved through small sizes. Small gap dimensions guarantee low losses, and special impeller geometries ensure high impeller strength and maximum efficiency.
In the area of high-pressure fans, it is possible to produce a compact special design.
High temperature fans
Zenner high-temperature fans are technically well thought out to meet the demands placed on them. Stainless steels and surface coatings that are particularly heat-resistant are used to ensure media transport up to 350°C. The selected seals and lubricants are also suitable for high temperatures to ensure operational safety.
The additional dissipation of heat via cooling vanes prevents the rolling bearings from being subjected to excessively high temperatures.
Our hot gas fans are proven for conveying media above 350°C.
Atex explosion protection & explosion-proof fans
Our explosion-proof fans are designed for installation in potentially explosive atmospheres, i.e. anywhere where flammable or explosive substances are handled. As our explosion-proof fans comply with the ATEX directive, they can be used there without any problems.

Technically gas-tight fans
Technically gas-tight fans from Zenner are specially designed. They are manufactured in such a way that neither gases can escape from the device nor ambient air can enter the device.
Our technically gas-tight fans are designed for conveying valuable or hazardous fluids. This means that nothing can penetrate the housing from the outside and nothing can enter the environment from the inside.
This is achieved by using special shaft seals and housing seals. In addition, all housing components are welded particularly tightly. This prevents dangerous chemical reactions or preserves valuable fluids.
Hot gas fans
Zenner hot gas fans are capable of transporting extremely hot media. The well thought-out design and the use of suitable materials ensure maximum operational reliability at 800°C media temperature and in continuous operation. Our hot gas fans have already proven themselves in practice over many years.
Zenner hot gas fans transport media at maximum temperatures of up to 800°C.
We use heat-resistant stainless steel, high-temperature greases and mechanical cooling components to guarantee safe operation. As an option, thermal insulation can be fitted to cover hot housing surfaces or prevent heat loss. We are also able to implement an active additional cooling system that functions independently of the fan operation. This continues to run when the fan is switched off, thus protecting particularly vulnerable components such as roller bearings.
Wear-protected fans
Zenner fans in wear-protected design are used for particularly heavy-duty applications involving the conveying of abrasive solids.
Thanks to our wealth of experience in fan construction, we know which fan components are particularly susceptible to wear.
The use of wear-resistant sheet metal, the application of special protective coatings, lining with elastic material and other special treatments guarantee the protection of these sensitive fan components.
The transportation of wood and metal chips, sand, glass dust or granulates are examples of high loads caused by solids in the conveyed medium.
Pressure-resistant fans
As soon as the operating pressure is higher than the pressure increase of the fan, the use of pressure-resistant Zenner fans is necessary. In the pressure-resistant variant, weld seams, plates and other fan components are adapted to the operating pressure. This means that pressure-resistant Zenner fans are suitable for their area of application.
Pressure-resistant Zenner fans are designed for high system pressures, which can be applied for short periods or permanently. The pressure resistance is achieved by reinforcements at relevant points of the fan housing that are subject to particularly high stress.
This prevents the housing from deforming under pressure and causing operational malfunctions. Optionally, special housing and shaft seals can be installed if the high system pressure is permanent.
Corrosion-protected fans
At least as diverse as the designs of Zenner fans are their areas of application. From places with extreme cold to places with extreme heat, permanently humid environments or high chemical loads - experience shows us that you have to expect everything. Our corrosion-protected Zenner fans are ideally equipped for this.
Zenner fans stand for quality and durability, even in locations or applications with extreme conditions. Careful selection of the paint coating is therefore a matter of course. If you need something more special, Zenner also guarantees corrosion protection beyond the paint finish. Stainless steel fans, galvanized fans or fans with Halar coating cover the field of corrosion protection and leave nothing to be desired.
Self-cleaning fans
Self-cleaning Zenner fans are able to prevent caking on the impeller by means of specifically selected blading and surface finishing.
Self-cleaning Zenner fans have a special impeller design.
The special blade geometry ensures favorable flow behavior, which prevents solids from sticking to the impeller. This effect can also be achieved by a surface treatment tailored to the application.
It is particularly useful when media with a high proportion of dust or flour are to be transported, for example in wood processing or the food industry.
Active cleaning fans
Whenever sticky media that are soluble in water are transported, it makes sense to use an active cleaning fan. The fan is cleaned during operation by injecting water.
Active-cleaning Zenner fans are used where the conveyed medium contains solids that tend to stick, i.e. sticky, wet or moist substances. The targeted injection of water or compressed air at relevant points inside the fan prevents material from settling. This prevents the formation of imbalances. Gaps and cross-sections are retained.
Special shaft seals prevent water from escaping through the shaft bushing. It is also possible to equip the active-cleaning Zenner fans with large cleaning openings, condensate drains or extendable drive units for cleaning the impeller outside the scroll housing.
Radial fans
A centrifugal fan, also known as a centrifugal fan, is a type of fan that is often used in industrial applications to convey air or gases. It is characterized by its special design, in which the air is drawn in axially (along the motor axis) and then blown out radially (perpendicular to the intake direction) by rotating blades or vanes on the circumference of a wheel.
- Advantages:
High pressures and volume flows: Centrifugal fans can generate very high pressures and are therefore ideal for applications where large volumes of air need to be moved against high resistance. - Versatility: They can be used in a wide variety of environments, e.g. in ventilation systems, dust extraction, air conditioning systems and drying processes.
- Robustness: Their robust construction makes them particularly suitable for use in harsh industrial environments.
