Industrial fans for a town hall – reliable, powerful and efficient
A farewell is often accompanied by a sense of nostalgia, but in this case, also with pride and satisfaction.
Seven industrial fans from our design and manufacturing facility have made their way to North Rhine-Westphalia.
Although our fans are primarily developed for industrial applications in process air technology, they are occasionally used in other fields. This project is a perfect example: Two different sizes and multiple housing configurations were specially designed for an air handling unit in a renovated town hall.
Technical Features for Maximum Performance
The three smaller fans will regulate the supply and exhaust air in an archive basement. They are equipped with a 6-pole, 2.2 kW motor and feature 630 mm impellers. This enables them to generate a pressure of 400 Pa with an airflow of 8,000 m³/h.
The four larger fans, constructed in different housing configurations and rotation directions, take on more demanding tasks: With an impeller diameter of 900 mm, a 6-pole, 7.5 kW motor, and a carefully designed airflow system, they achieve a pressure of up to 950 Pa at a maximum airflow of 21,900 m³/h.
Custom Adaptation to Structural Requirements
Since the fans are being installed in an existing air handling unit, they needed to be adapted to the available space. Three of the larger models were therefore designed with a special outlet angle of 45° to ensure optimal airflow direction.
Reliable and Powerful – Ideal for Municipal Applications
In addition to their technical specifications, the fans come equipped with base frames, condensate drains, and inspection openings as standard. They were also delivered with accessories such as vibration dampers, compensators, and frequency converters.
