Exhaust air purification with 2 large ZENNER fans
Large fans for exhaust air purification – 2 x 100,500 m³/h, 5,200 Pa, 10.5 tons
Environmental requirements are increasing – and ZENNER Ventilatoren supplies the right technology: Two powerful large fans for exhaust air purification have been successfully delivered.
Key data of the project:
- Medium temperature: 70°C
- Operating mode: Parallel operation
- Volume flow per fan: 100,500 m³/h
- Pressure per fan: 5,200 Pa
- Motor power: 200 kW, 4-pole, frequency converter controlled
- Impeller diameter: 1,400 mm
- Total weight (including accessories): 10.5 tons
Both fans were designed with an intermediate shaft and coupling and mounted on a stable base frame. The paint finish in RAL 5017 (traffic blue) is designed for outdoor installation without a roof.

- Speed sensor on the intermediate shaft
- Two bearing temperature sensors per fan
- DN1000 throttle valves with pneumatic cylinder & manual NW1400x710
- Suction and pressure side compensators
- Rubber buffers

Special feature: The housing design was split for transport and installation – including base division for optimal handling.
