Mounting fan for belt-mounted filters – ZENNER supplies special solution for mining
After intensive discussions – by telephone, in person, and at a trade fair – a new customer was certain: he wanted to work with ZENNER on his belt filter project.
The task: a mounting fan for side mounting, made to exact specifications.
Our solution:
A direct-drive radial fan on a 1,475 × 850 mm mounting plate with integrated suction nozzle, equipped with a pressure-side protective grille for protection against intrusion – ideal for occupational safety requirements in industrial environments.
At a conveying temperature of 20°C, the 450 mm impeller achieves:
- Volume flow: 7,200 m³/h
- Total pressure: 2,150 Pa
A special voltage of 525 V was implemented for operation in mining. The 2-pole motor with 7.5 kW drive power used works reliably in continuous operation.
The paint finish in RAL 5012 (light blue) was chosen at the customer's request to ensure a harmonious overall appearance in the existing plant.
The first test phase is currently underway – if successful, long-term, standardized series production is already under discussion.
