Clutch-Driven Industrial Fan – Tailored Solutions for extreme Temperatures
Are two fans that are mirror images of each other considered a series? No, of course not.
Are recurring fans that are specifically designed to meet customer requirements considered standard? For this customer and application, absolutely.
This is our strength: the conceptual and constructive adaptation of our product range, enabling our customers to solve their challenges with our clutch-driven industrial fans.
In this application, the two coupled fans are powered by 2-pole 0.55 kW motors operating at motor speed and are designed for medium temperatures up to 650°C.
To keep the temperature away from the motor, a bearing block has been installed between the motor and the impeller.
Designed for 20°C, the 250 mm impellers made of 1.4828 stainless steel achieve a pressure of 770 Pa and an airflow of 700 m³/h.
For cost reasons, the parts not in contact with the medium are made as a hybrid design using standard steel, while the 100 mm thick housing insulation is covered with galvanized sheet steel.
Since our customer has specific connection requirements, both the suction flange and the discharge frame were custom-sized.
Standardized for this customer – but not mass-produced, not a series.
Customer requirements are met in the Erzgebirge region by Zenner Ventilatoren.
