Powerful and precisely adjusted fans are required for even heat distribution in drying processes. This was precisely the requirement of our customer, who once again relied on ZENNER fans after a successful initial project.
The company was looking for a competent partner to build ten built-in fans for integration into a drying plant.
The challenge: In addition to meeting the air technology parameters, all circulators had to be individually adapted to the limited space available on site.
The solution:
A specially manufactured insulated pot with the maximum possible dimensions of 850 x 850 mm, combined with a 630 mm high-performance impeller.
Key technical data at a glance:
- Conveyed medium: humid recirculating air
- Volume flow: 10,830 m³/h
- Pressure: 1,050 Pa
- Temperature ranges: 20°C to max. 200°C
- Impeller: 630 mm diameter
- Motor: 5.5 kW flange motor, painted RAL 5010 (gentian blue)
- Material: Stainless steel 1.4301 – pickled and passivated
- Control: Frequency converter (FC)
- Weight per unit: 255 kg incl. suction nozzle Ø 500 mm
A total of 10 stainless steel free-running fans were manufactured, equipped with loose suction nozzles made of 1.4301.
The result: A technically and visually impressive solution – tailor-made for the conditions on site.
